About Me
Hi, I’m Robyn! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Perinatal Mental Health Therapist (PMH-C).
I earned my Bachelor of Music in Music Education from UNC-Greensboro and my Master of Social Work from UNC-Charlotte. Since 2017, I have been proud to serve the Lewisville community — beginning as a counseling intern and growing into a fully licensed and independent clinician providing both in-person and virtual therapy services (NC/SC).
I work primarily with adolescents (ages 12+), women, and couples navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, panic attacks, life transitions, school or work stress, parenting, and relationship issues. My professional background includes five years as a middle school teacher, which deepened my interest in supporting teens, parents, and other educators. I enjoy working with middle school, high school, and college-aged clients.
Over the years, I have developed a strong passion for perinatal mental health. I support women through all stages of the reproductive journey from trying to conceive, infertility, and pregnancy loss, to postpartum challenges, "scary mom thoughts," and the transition to parenthood. I also love to work with couples during pregnancy, after birth, and while raising young children. My certification in perinatal mental health included evidence-based training through Postpartum Support International, and I have also completed Levels 1 and 2 of the Gottman Method Couples Therapy training.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and flexible. I primarily draw from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), but also incorporate solution-focused techniques, systems theory, mindfulness, strengths-based approaches, and Gottman-informed interventions. My goal is to meet you where you are and support the goals that matter most to you.
