Services & Specialties
Get treatment for your mental healthcare needs.
I specialize in perinatal mental health and women’s issues, offering counseling for transitions, stress, and relationship challenges.
Maternal Mental Health
I am a Certified Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) therapist, trained and approved by Postpartum Support International (PSI). I often work with women before, during, and after pregnancy with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.
Maternal mental health services could include preconception work, trying to conceive, infertility, IVF, miscarriage, adoption, postpartum anxiety and depression, birth/postpartum planning, boundaries, relationship stress, and adjustment to motherhood.
Women’s Issues
I work with women with a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, panic attacks, and adjustment disorders. I can also help with other stressors, such as work stress, relationship issues, life changes, and parenting challenges (birth to adult children).
Women’s health issues such as PMDD, PCOS, and perimenopause/menopause can often impact mental health and stress. While I am not a medical provider, I can help with managing the mental health symptoms and stress associated with these conditions.
I frequently collaborate with and can help refer to several amazing women’s health specialists in our community for comprehensive care. These specialists include medical providers, psychiatrists, pelvic floor physical therapists, chiropractors, nutritionists, and more.
Couples Therapy
In addition to individual therapy, I also offer couples therapy services. I have completed levels 1 and 2 of the Gottman Method Couples Therapy Professional Trainings. I have a special interest in working with expecting parents and parents of young children.
Adolescents (12+)
I have professional experience both as a teacher and as a therapist working with adolescents and their families through a variety of mental health challenges. I work with adolescents facing general anxiety, performance anxiety (arts, test-taking, public speaking), depression, school stress, communication skills, and adjustment issues. I enjoy working with middle school, high school, and college students as they are navigating growth and change during these periods of transition in their lives.
